Founded in 2004, Nashik Cambridge School has become a prominent landmark in the educational landscape of Nashik. At 5000+ students in a single campus we are the largest school by student strength in the district. Located at Indira Nagar, a well settled residential locality with easy connectivity to various other localities, the3 acre campus consists of Academic Buildings sprawled across a 120000 sq.ft., playfields and allied facilities.
We have a strong emphasis on academics with a focus on building core concepts and competencies. The foundation years from the Pre-School years to Grade 2 focus on building language skills, numeracy skills and environmental awareness. From Middle classes onwards there is emphasis on the core subjects namely Maths, Sciences and Social Sciences. Apart from core subjects, the school imparts instruction in a wide range of languages : English, Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit as well as Foreign Languages namely French, German and Japanese.
At Higher Secondary level, we offer one of the widest range of elective and subject combinations across three broad streams : Science, Commerce and Humanities. Students can select from a list of 21 core and elective subjects, whichever best complement their future academic and career goals.
The 200 + full time faculty who steer the school’s extensive academic programs have been selected through a rigorous selection process and undergo continuous in-service training. They are supplemented with a small but talented cohort of professionals who are engaged part-time to teach specialized subjects such as Legal Studies, Taxation, and Entrepreneurship.
Students can also choose from a selection of activities from Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Dance, Fine Arts and Drama. Under Instrumental Music they may opt to learn the guitar, keyboard, tabla, drums or flute. The school has 9 studios assigned to fine arts and performing arts, helmed by experienced and full time faculty who train and guide the students to explore their creative selves and become confident individuals
Special emphasis has been laid on Computer Science Education with courses offered on Coding and Artificial Intelligence alongside Computer Applications. The school has three well appointed computer labs to efficiently run its Computer Science program.
